Since its inception in 2009, TriLanai LLC (“TriLanai”), a not for profit entity, has organized and administered a total of six events on the Hawaiian island of Lanai. TriLanai has hosted hundreds of athletes, averaged nearly 50 sponsors for each event, and caused over $50,000 to be raised for local Lanai-based charities! In addition, TriLanai has awarded thousands of dollars worth of prizes to athletes and volunteers. TriLanai has grown from an idea into an ever expanding force for good on Lanai – all done with 100% volunteer effort.
TriLanai LLC's goals include the following:
Promote fitness and active healthy lifestyles,
Showcase Lanai’s unique natural beauty,
Stimulate Lanai’s economy, and
Serve as a fundraiser for local Lanai-based charitable organizations.

7/20/2013 TriLanai 3Hills (3rd Annual)
(50 mile Ultramarathon, Road Bike Ride, OR Running Relays)
TriLanai 3Hills offers Ultramarathoners, Road Cyclists, and Running Relay Teams the opportunity to traverse nearly every paved road on Lanai – twice! 3Hills starts and ends at Hulope beach park, includes sweeping views of the Lanai’s Palawai Basin as well as Molokai and Maui on the way toward Keomoku. The final hill of the three hills provides views of the cliffs of Lanai, and ends with food and refreshments at the beach party for athletes.

(21K / 10K / 5K Walk & Keiki Run around Dole Park)
TriLanai City offers half-marathoners and shorter distance runners including the kids a great way to intimately experience storied Lanai City. The course starts and ends in Dole Park in Lanai City and offers nearly traffic-free running regardless of the distance you sign up for!
11/2/2012 TriLanai Offroad Sprint Triathlon (5th Annual)
(.5-mile Swim / 10-mile Mountain Bike / 3-mile Run)
TriLanai Triathlon is as a sprint distance (half-mile swim in the marine preserve of Hulopoe Bay, 10mi mountain bike by the La Ola Solar Farm, 3mi run on the Challenge at Manele Golf Course), can be tackled as an individual or relay, and is a fun event for experienced as well as the first-time or casual triathlete. TriLanai Triathlon starts and ends at Hulopo'e Beach Park and is TriLanai’s biggest production of the year. TriLanai Triathlon is always scheduled for the weekend following the Xterra World Championship on Maui, and is famous for bringing out tons of enthusiastic volunteers, spectators, and athletes ready to have fun!
